44 Months Anniversary / 2011 Valentine's at Croatia

It's so true that everything that makes a girl pretty is painful!! And believe me, I'm not one of those girls who enjoys spending hours to do their make up and hair, whatsmore picking the outfit. I barely spend 10 minutes for make ups? Another 10 minutes to dry my hair, if it's wet. Otherwise 5 minutes would be sufficient -.-

When I was so determined to make myself look a lil bit better, accident happened! Shiat! The last time I curled my hair, I burnt my fingers. It was on my birthday, how great was that. Today even worse, I burnt my face!!! My skin literally peeled off the moment it touched the hair curler. Ban hair curler!

Look at it look at it!! Po siong la sei mou.. The pinkish part is where the skin peeled off, whereby the dark crest around it is the skin which kena bakar. Sigh.

After that still got mood to go out makan and took pictures. Nasi sudah jadi bubur, pain also have to eat ga.

We went to this Croatia restaurant called Dubrovnik Restaurant at Solaris Mont Kiara to celebrate our 44 months anniversary as well as early Valentine's. As usual I am a bit skeptical when it comes to new makan places but this one seems to get many good reviews. 

Complimentary dish: Breads with some spicy sauce. (There were 6 pieces of bread, not 2 yea. We whacked 'em too fast)

Appetizer: Krumpir Soup (Mushrooms soup with potato cubes).

Main: Chicken Parmezan and Cevapi & Djuvedj (Grilled lamb and beef sausages with Special Croatian vegetable rice).

Dessert: Apple Pita (Apple pie with vanilla ice cream).

Among all the dishes, I like the soup and apple pie the most. The soup is very creamy and full of taste. Portion is just nice. Otherwise we would be stuffed with breads and soup before the main comes. At first we would like to order their famous Lamb Rack. Too bad habis liao :(

There are not many choices to pick from the menu as I'm not a 'chicken' person. But thinking of the cheesy and creamy sauce in Chicken Parmezan, I was already salivating slurpss~ The sauce is really delicious but can be very 'zai' if taken too much. If you like cheese, this dish will not fail you.

Since they don't have Lamb Rack, we go for the grilled lamb and beef sausages. The sausages taste great, very meaty. It goes very well with the spicy sauce. Not my favourite favourite dish but it's acceptable. Adam said he likes the Special Croatian vegetable rice. It taste a bit like nasi briyanni.

Time flies and it has been 44 months we've been together. There are many big plans this year and let's hope that things will go smoothly as planned. Before anything else, I shall end my honeymoon and get a job. I'm getting too comfortable enjoying myself at home and adding up a few kilos blerhh.
