Pre-wedding Indoor Photoshoot

Must blog about this because it's once in a lifetime! Honestly, I don't like to take photos especially if it's taken by somebody else. When I was a kid I like to take photos so much because back then I looked super adorable. But everything changed once I've got acne and my teeth became not so nice anymore :s

The weird thing is both of us didn't feel nervous or anything about the photoshoot. It is just another task in our to-do-list and we just want to get it done. This year, we have listed many things in our to-do-list and by far, we have completed more than half of them. Way to go yo!

Back to the photoshoot. Last week, the SA from Victoria gave us a call to remind us about the photoshoot session. We were told to be there at 10am. We were so gung ho we still went to the gym the night before and at 10:00PM we were rushing to the tailor's place to get Adam's suit and tux. Initially we planned to push off early because the traffic will be heavy in the morning. Due to our gung ho-ness, everything was done last minute; ironing la, packing la bla bla bla. Luckily we still reached there on time heh.

The bridal shop just opened. Only the make up artist and the shop assistant were there. The make up artist (forgot her name :s) did my make up and she was really quick. Most importantly, her make up is very very nice!! For once I don't feel my make up is too thick especially the eyes. Just when our make up is done, another couple came for their photoshoot as well.

The indoor photoshoot started around 11PM. Our photographer is Abbey and her assistant is Jess. We were asked to go into the studio. The studio is quite small, with a few different settings. Hard to imagine that all the nice indoor photos came out from this small room :P  Before the shooting starts, Jess taught us a few tricks on posing. I was a bit kekok especially when Abbey asked me to smile showing my teeth. She asked me to relax and smile naturally but the problem is I don't usually smile showing my teeth in photos. Anyway I give it a try as she said it's ok, she will snap and show me whether it's nice or not. When she showed me the first few photos that she took, OMG! My jaw dropped. My first reaction is 'Is it me in the photo?' LOL *thumbs up to Abbey*

As the shooting went on, we were more relax and the whole thing seemed much easier. Altogether, I've changed three gowns and one kua. As usual all comes with different style. The first gown gave a very soft, smooth and romantic feel. Second evening gown is more sexy (i think) and the third evening gown Adam called it the sailormoon style =.=

The whole indoor shooting finished at 3 something and we quickly changed for outdoor shooting. The sky was dark and to our dismay, it started drizzling huhu. We did go on with the plan and Abbey tried her best to capture whatever she can while the sun still bright. However, few minutes later it started to rain so we waited in the car hoping that we can continue later. There were another few couples having their photoshoot as well. So funny to see all the couples standing there waiting for the rain to stop. We waited until 6:30PM and decided to postpone the photoshoot to a different date. So kind of Abbey and Jess to help us arrange a date on Saturday so that we don't have to take leave. They even don't mind to work extra hours just let us have the photoshoot. So nice right?

In a way I find it as a blessing in disguise because we were actually a bit tired. And now we get to shoot another time, it's even better ;) I didn't take any self shots because I can't be carrying my phone around ma. But here's one for your eyes only :D
